About Activity

Trip Highlights:

Join us for a scenic day hike along the Sydenham River to take in the impressive Inglis Falls and (hopefully) watch the annual Chinook salmon run!

We will follow the Bruce Trail system via Harrison Park to Inglis Falls, taking in views of the river gorge along the way. Both Harrison Park and Inglis Falls are known fantastic spots to view the migrating salmon in the shallow riverbeds.

After the hike is complete, feel free to explore the town of Owen Sound & Mill Dam Fish Ladder, the first fish ladder built in Ontario, where salmon leap a steep drop in the heart of downtown Owen Sound. (Address: 601 2nd Avenue West, Owen Sound)

Trip will be at a relaxed pace with breaks to ensure we all enjoy the trail and stay safe.

Carpool is encouraged as its a small parking lot.
