About Activity

Trip Highlights:

Join a scenic day point-to-point hike exploring the Mono Cliffs Section (McCarston Lake, Mono Cliffs, Jacob's Ladder (Optional), Southern Outlier). This is a moderate to hard route customised to merge many different trails for optimal experience through all lookouts. There will be certain sections with significant elevation gains and rough terrain hence sturdy hiking shoes will be needed.

Trip will be at a relaxed pace with breaks to ensure we all enjoy the trail and stay safe.

Note: This route is a customization of multiple different AllTrails routes and will require us to park one/multiple cars at the end point as we carpool to the start point and park the other car there. The start point is basically a road side gravel parking on the shoulder that can accommodate 2-3 cars maximum. If the parking there is full, there is an alternate parking lot about 1.5km North from there which we can park at however it will add an additional 2km to our route.

If you want to do half the route, folks can coordinate and park at MonoCliffs Provincial Park (Day Use Permit Needed) where they can exit.

Distance: 8.73km
