Bonfire Toronto Island

Asalaamlkm in July I invited a bunch of Muslim brothers and sisters to a bonfire and FIFA watch party on Toronto Island. Most of us didnt know each other but alhmdulillah many connections were made.

I'll bring some halal marshmallows. Feel free to bring your significant other/kids (there is a cute children's amusement park nearby on the island). You will need to take a ferry/water taxi to get there.

The weather forecast for Sunday:

Day: 21°C. Partly cloudy skies with a 7% chance of rain (low).

Night: 15°C. Partly cloudy skies with a 6% chance of rain (low).

I've already got all the stuff ready for the event and have a few hands helping me to transport it (but could use more help). Here's what I have:

1. Permit for firepit

2. Wood for fire

3. Firestarter and lighter

4. Halal Marshmallow

5. Marshmallows sticks

6. Cooler with drinks

7. Foldable wagons

8. Prayer mats

9. Foldable chairs (benches already there)

10. Thermacell mosquito repellant

11. Flashlights and lanterns

12. Everything required to make chai

15°C by the lake is sweater weather, so dress appropriately. Feel free to bring snacks but also be prepared to take some back home if there are leftovers. So I think the only thing y'all will have to bring are the (jinn) stories that you want to share.
